These educational trips offer a unique opportunity to combine travel with conservation benefits, where participants actively participate in research and educational activities. The trip can be organized for companies or individual groups with a minimum of 8 people. Combine adventure with learning and contribute to the conservation of the marine environment. Planet Lover Ocean Education’s 5-day intensive training program has been tailor-made thanks to the willingness and extended collaboration with Blue World Institute. It is a unique and integrated educational process. Methods used in the workshops include discussion, oral presentations, demonstrations as well as direct observation in the field. The entire program is conducted in English. If necessary, we provide interpreters. The main aim of our workshops is to promote the development of awareness and attitude towards nature, as well as to increase interest in natural sciences. It is almost unbelievable how similar the marine ecosystem is in some processes to the forest – terrestrial one. What we will experience What we will experience and learn together (theoretically and practically:) Dolphin identification – a workshop on dolphin biology, ecology, behaviour and research for students of different ages, presented by scientists – marine biologists, in a very understandable way. The main theme of the workshop is to teach students how to identify dolphins using photo-identification. The workshop is held at LMEC and includes discussions on the conservation of marine protected areas. Another workshop covers the biology and ecology of sea turtles, including their identification, life cycle and conservation. This workshop takes place at the Turtle Rescue Center (TRC) in Mali Losinj or at LMEC with a visit to the TRC.
