The programme is designed for primary, secondary and university teachers as well as other educational staff. The aim is to provide educators with practical tools and methodologies that they can integrate into their teaching to effectively educate students about environmental protection. &#x201C;EKOworkshop is an innovative programme for teachers that provides them with the necessary competences for climate education. We work with current topics such as water, energy, soil and biodiversity and bring them into the classroom through experiential and interactive methods.&#x201D; The programme consists of 5 main themes: water, ocean, soil, biodiversity and energy. Each participant will receive a Climate Education Certificate after completing 10 hours of training (a combination of face-to-face and distance learning). Our trained educators will be provided with methodologies and lesson scenarios that will enable them to bring new knowledge into the classroom in an engaging and effective way. Who is ECO education for: teacher (first-stage teacher) Primary school teacher, second-grade teacher. primary school teacher, secondary school teacher, primary art school teacher) master of vocational training teaching assistant school special educator youth worker About EKOworkshop &#x2013; Climate Education This innovative educational programme is aimed at strengthening knowledge on environmental protection, climate reality and sustainability. It will also strengthen professional development in acquiring the competencies needed to implement climate education. The scope of the training is 10 teaching hours, of which 5 hours are face-to-face and 5 hours are distance learning. The programme is divided into five main themes: WATER OCEAN FOOD BIODIVERSITY ENERGY Each topic provides comprehensive information on the current state of the climate and the changes we are experiencing. After completing the workshop, you will receive a methodology*, simulated lesson scenarios, and a wealth of resources to help you bring climate topics into every course in an effective and engaging way. Digital learning and new insights In an era full of misleading information, EKOworkshop will introduce you to ways of fact-checking and digital learning through an online platform. This form of learning provides a visual impact, quick transfer of information and the ability to instantly check students&#x2019; understanding of the material.
