Ekoworkshop YES or NO ?

I had to go through this question as well. I was fleetingly aware of the situation in the world and I knew a few basics of how to treat nature, how to recycle and of course I had a lot of unanswered questions that I put away in my drawer.
The solution to the dilemma of whether or not to participate was a quick examination of conscience.
Am I doing everything I can for how I live and where our society is going ? NO. Do I want to do more ? YES. Do I have time ? No or NO… but I could find some. How do I care and contribute to the environment and the planet ? HMM. I want to learn new facts about environmental protection and make better choices in my daily dilemmas while making a realdifference ? YES. I want to meet new people with a similar interest to mine and meet lots of interesting guests from the field who are inspiring and will push me further ? YES.
The fundamental question was, if I don’t decide to do it now, when ? And it was handled. It didn’t hurt, it just needed to be said out loud.
These are my reasons why I decided to join Ekoworkshop and I’m sure I couldn’t have made a better decision, because what Ekoworkshop has given me is mainly a lot of well-founded facts and solutions to everyday dilemmas, which if I kept in mind, I have taught not only myself, but also the people around me, how to put theory into practice. I have had the opportunity to get to know and gain insight into the workings of organizations that are dedicated to environmental protection from very different spheres. I have come to understand that it is indeed possible to pursue this topic and the variety of opportunities is great. My horizons and opportunities to volunteer have been broadened and the potential and contribution is priceless. I was part of the team that created the 10 Green Measures for EYOF, where I saw that we don’t all have the same habits, culture and taking things for granted for ourselves is not the same for others.
The journey I embarked on didn’t end with the completion of Ekoworkshop, but on the contrary, it has just begun. When, with some knowledge and a taste for change, I launched out into the world.
